Birch House Hotel & Bar
Personal Project / Art Institute
Birch House Hotel & Bar is a boutique hotel nestled a few blocks south from Broadway; one of Nashville’s beloved streets for live entertainment.
Creating an identity for a boutique hotel allowed a lot of exploration; creating an identity for one in Nashville had its set of challenges. Nashville has a surprising amount of boutique hotels so standing out against the rest and still maintaining its own essence was key. I took some time in the beginning to research the competition, while exploring an initial direction of the brand. It needed to be timeless, simple, and clean. Inviting to those that wanted an easy experience in booking a room, appealing to its target clientele, and providing an identity that would compliment its upscale environment. After working through various ideas, I landed on what you see here.
A minimalistic, yet inviting identity aimed to blend with it’s upscale surroundings and ensuring an approachable nature.
The website was designed to provide an easy experience for clients. Allowing them to get an understanding of Birch House through a myriad of visuals and succinct information, all while maintaining the brand identity.
